Privacy notice
This notice covers crawin's marketing site, the waitlist, and (when it ships) the product. It is written to satisfy the GDPR (Regulation EU 2016/679) and the Austrian DSG.
1. Who is the controller

2. What we collect on this website
- Waitlist submissions: the email address and role you submit, and a timestamp. We use this only to send you a single email when your wave opens.
- Contact emails: when you email us, we receive your email address and the contents of your message.
- Server logs: our hosting provider (Render) logs IP addresses and request metadata for up to 30 days for security and abuse prevention.
We do not run analytics that profile or identify visitors. We do not embed third-party trackers, ad pixels, or social-network share buttons.
3. Legal basis
Waitlist email: your consent (Art. 6 (1)(a) GDPR), which you give by submitting the form. You can revoke at any time by replying "remove" to our email, with no consequence other than not receiving the waitlist notification.
Server logs: legitimate interest in operating the service (Art. 6 (1)(f) GDPR).
4. Where data lives
The website is hosted by Render Services Inc. in the EU (Frankfurt). Waitlist submissions land in our AWARE GmbH systems in the EU. We do not transfer personal data outside the EU/EEA without a valid transfer mechanism.
5. Retention
- Waitlist email: until you ask us to delete it, or 24 months after the product is generally available, whichever is sooner.
- Server logs: 30 days, then automatically deleted.
- Contact emails: 24 months from the last reply, then deleted unless they are subject to a tax or legal retention rule.
6. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, port, and object. Email privacy@crawin.eu and we respond within one month. You also have the right to complain to your supervisory authority — for Austrian-resident data subjects, that's the Österreichische Datenschutzbehörde.
7. Cookies
The marketing site sets no cookies. The waitlist uses your browser's localStorage only to remember that you signed up, so we don't double-submit if you reload. You can clear it any time from your browser settings.
8. Changes
We will update this notice as the product surface grows. Material changes get an email to anyone on the waitlist.
